Jedi Interceptor made of spare parts
A LEGO fan created a custom Jedi Interceptor using parts from the 2020 Anakin's Interceptor (set 75281). The builder, /u/JamesonPlank, shared their creation and the challenges they overcame.
The project began with the intention of replicating the 2005 Jedi Interceptor (set 7256). However, the builder realized the cockpit mold from the 2020 set 75281 didn't align with the older instructions. This led to custom modifications, including a new hinge and adjustments to the cockpit section.
The builder's ingenuity in adapting the parts from set 75281 to create a unique version of the Jedi Interceptor is a testament to the creativity possible with LEGO. For anyone inspired to build their own custom models, having a brick separator on hand can be incredibly useful for making adjustments.
built this from the 2020's Anikin's Interceptor (75281) without realizing i should have been following the 2005 set's instructions (7256) due to the cockpit mold fitting differently than more modern models. Due to this issue, I made a custom hinge and adjusted some portions of the cockpit. Tell me what you think! submitted by /u/JamesonPlank [link] [comments]
