Is this an illegal building technique?

I didn't know how to mount this small lamp but by chance a 3713 technic bushing fit perfectly into those holes at the base so I decided I'd try it this way. Works perfectly and the screws are thin enough that you can reuse all the pieces! submitted by /u/triplos05 [link] [comments]
