Is there any way to connect these two binoculars pieces in the direction shown?

Question's fairly self explanatory I think. I know that binoculars pieces can connect if plugged in eye-to-lens, and a lens-to-lens connection is possible using a rollerskate piece in between, but is there any way to connect them eye-to-eye?
