Is there a way to argue in favor of an IP if submissions aren't allowed because it overlaps with an existing theme?

I'm asking because I checked to see if Adventure Time was an acceptable idea but it came up as not allowed since they already did an Ideas set back in 2017. That set was just buildable figures of the main cast. Adventure Time seems like an IP perfect for Lego due to all the unique locations and characters the show has. I'd love to see more idea submissions based on it and this seems like a really unreasonable justification for preventing further submissions. submitted by /u/Armascout ...
