Is there a generally agreed upon best expansion for the X-mansion?

I'm hoping to get another modular, and am basically debating between a resold sanctum sanctorum or the x-mansion. I think the xmansion is cool, but like many, slightly underwhelmed, and would like to know the best options to increase its size and make it more grand.
