Is it just me or did the Seasons 1 to 5 Ninjas feel more like brothers/family compared to Season 6 and beyond?

I always felt like the ninja had this dynamic that had lots of chemistry and just brotherly humour I always related to (since I have lots of siblings lol). Season 6 and beyond felt more... like best friends at best and roommates and worst? Especially in Dragons Rising. AND THIS IS NO HATE TOWARDS SEASON 6 AND BEYOND OR TO DRAGONS RISING! I am simply saying the dynamics the OG ninja had just felt... special. Season 1 to 3 is probably at its peak when it comes to being actual family. Is it just...
