Is getting a Deepstone Jay worth $13 (US)?

LEGO fans on Reddit are currently debating the value of purchasing the Deepstone Jay minifigure individually for $13 USD. User /u/DocterBonkle initiated the discussion to see if acquiring this specific character at that price point makes financial sense for collectors and NINJAGO enthusiasts alike.

When building out a NINJAGO collection or tracking down rare variants like Deepstone Jay, prices on the aftermarket often fluctuate based on demand and availability in specific sets. While some fans find individual aftermarket prices reasonable for completing a specific lineup, others prefer buying complete sets to maximize their investment per piece.

Evaluating the cost of individual minifigures against the thrill of the hunt is a common dilemma in the LEGO community. To keep your growing collection organized and protected from dust, you might want to pick up a LEGO display case or a LEGO storage box for your loose figures and parts.
