In season 9: Hunted why could only Lloyd beat Garmadon?

In season 1 I get it because there was a whole prophecy but everyone is telling him he has to beat his dad this season (no prophecy) somehow even though he lost his powers. He manages to beat him using art of the silent fist, which is cool, but couldn't anyone do that once they figure out the fight fuels him like Lloyd did? I haven't watched the show in years.
