In need of tips

so I’m currently in the process of creating an Erie triplex in bricklink studio. I’m planning on making it work on the standard R40 curves and having the ability to be motorized via power functions though only by one motor. I plan on using universal joints to connect the drive sets and I’m wondering if there would be a better way.
