Imperial shuttle moc, help!

This is literally my first build in studio, and I'm not sure if this connection is possible ​ As seen in the images, for the wings I have these 3 parts connected (48171, 47455, 73109). The 2x2 brick with joint is supported properly with technic and the wings are strong. This is the same type of connection in the lego set 75392, but the wings are much smaller ​ >Im not sure if two of these connection points are enough to support the rather large wings. Any ideas for alternative connects or is...
