I work for a wildlife conservation org and we just launched a sea otter naming contest with the LEGO designer behind the Floating Sea Otters set, thought this community might appreciate it

Wildlife Conservation Network has partnered with Maximilian Lambrecht, the fan designer of the LEGO Ideas Floating Sea Otters (21366) set, to launch a Sea Otter Naming Contest. The contest encourages LEGO fans to name their LEGO sea otters and support sea otter conservation efforts.

To participate, fans can name their LEGO sea otter, post it with the hashtag #NameYourLegoOtter, and make a $21.36 donation to the Sea Otter Fund. The $21.36 donation amount is a direct reference to the set number 21366. Entries can include in-store selfies, digital renders, or creative reinterpretations of the sea otters. The Wildlife Conservation Network team and Maximilian Lambrecht will select the three best names. Winners will receive either a Sea Otter Safari in the Bay Area, California, or a Sea Otter Care package.

The funds raised will directly support scientists and Tribal partners working to reintroduce sea otters to the California coastline, where they are still missing from 800 miles. The campaign aims to leverage the popularity of the LEGO set to raise awareness and funds for sea otter conservation.
