I wonder why there isn't really an aftermarket for 3rd party off brand figures?

I don't mean bootleg figures or customs. I am talking about these 3rd party figures that you might find on AliExpress or sites like that. I have gotten a few cool characters (or alt costumes) that are pretty much unavailable anywhere else. But when these things are gone, they are really GONE for good!
