I tried to recreate the rhythm of the forest in LEGO

Hearing a woodpecker in the forest always makes me pause and listen. That moment inspired this interactive LEGO model of a pileated woodpecker. By pulling a hidden string, the bird recreates its iconic pecking motion. The goal was to combine realistic proportions with a simple mechanical movement that feels natural and satisfying.
