I finished my first big Lego set! Bara-Dur

Hi all I'm new to the hobby. Last year my wife got me a tie fighter to build and I loved it. She then got me Bara-Dur for Christmas. I started building this on January 1st and just finished today! I had a few bad moments when I realized I must have screwed something up like 3 bags ago as pieces weren't fitting. There's still one big piece that is kind hanging on by a thread but not integral. What's weird is I have like a ton of spare pieces, I must have not used all the pieces I should've...
