I finally caved

Reddit user /u/darun1an recently shared their excitement after finally deciding to purchase and build the iconic LEGO Game Boy set. After holding out for a while, the builder finally caved and experienced the nostalgic brick-built console first-hand, declaring it to be an "awesome build.

While the brief post does not specify a set number, piece count, price, or exact release date, the enthusiasm highlights the enduring appeal of LEGO's retro gaming-themed sets among fans and collectors. The community-shared moment showcases the joy of taking the plunge on a set that builders might initially hesitate to buy.

For fans inspired to pick up their own retro models or display completed builds, it is always a good idea to protect your creations from dust by investing in a LEGO display case. Keeping your favorite nostalgic builds safe ensures they remain pristine centerpieces in any collection.
