I built the Glade from The Maze Runner! Now on LEGO Ideas

User T0by64 designed the custom model to blend elements from both the original book series and the film adaptation, offering fellow builders and fans a nostalgic trip into the dystopian setting.

To make the massive location suitable for a display piece, the builder cleverly condensed and rearranged several areas. A true minifigure-scale recreation would measure an astounding 8.7 meters wide, so the designer compacted the layout while retaining the essential look and feel. Key features included in the build are the Box, the Map Room, and the towering ivy-covered Glade walls featuring moveable doors. Hidden Easter eggs and details are scattered throughout the model, such as Beetle Blades concealed in the ivy, a Griever viewing window, and names carved directly into the stone walls.

The comprehensive fan-made project comes heavily populated with characters and creatures. It includes a brick-built Griever, Bark the black Labrador, and a massive lineup of 12 minifigures: Thomas, Newt, Alby, Minho, Gally, Chuck, Frypan, Clint, Ben, Winston, Zart, and Teresa.
