How would you rewrite "The LEGO Ninjago Movie (2017)"?

For me, I'd rewrite it as just a simple, generic and fun superhero origin movie! "Lloyd is a typical highschool student who lives with his mother, Koko. But one day, the evil Lord Garmadon and his evil forces invade the city, in search of his wife and son. Sensei Wu intervenes to help Lloyd and Koko, but Lloyd's mother gives herself up to save her son. Having nowhere to go, Sensei Wu takes Lloyd to a remote monastery for safety and where he meets the five other ninjas; Kai, Nya, Cole, Jay and...
