How Do You Start a MOC Inventory? (Lego moc)

Hello Reddit, I've been trying slowly building an Lego moc inventory of parts. However, my purchases at the Laval Lego store have given me a strange inventory to work with. Or must I say, I probably did not buy the right pieces. (I'm full on leaves and flowers, but I lacking bricks.) So I'll stop these Lego store purchases, and I'm going to try Lego.com PAB instead.
