How different do you think the show would be if they kept Zane as "The weird one" and not a nindroid?

One of the major things I wonder is would their be Pixal? I feel like it's weird saying the only thing a weird person could pull is a robot. Would there be someone like Pixal? Would he still have a love interest? Maybe she'd be more sidelined because I feel like Pixal being a nindroid works to her advantage. How would he change in DR? would he become more normal? How would the butterfly effect get them to Chen's island is Zane doesn't die and rebuild himself? Would he still die but just...
