How could a Mandalorian *Kom'rk* transport featuring a troop-drop function be built?

So far, we have got two Mandalorian Starfighter sets. After re-watching The Mandalorian, I was wondering if a model of the gauntlet in the UCS Playscale Style (like the Mocs by Baufman Bricks) could work with the troop-drop feature. How could the feature be integrated and what size would be required for the fighter (would a width of 6 studs work for the drop area)?
