HO ish scale layout. What do we think of this?

I have recently gotten interested in HO and N scale model trains and really wanted to make my own layout. Turns out however that this stuff is way too expensive. So, I made a freight car from my legos in 4 wide scale and found that I really really like the idea of doing an HO layout with legos. Any suggestions or ideas from those who have experience with model railroading or building in 4 wide scale? (P.S) I plan to buy 4 wide track from TrixBrixs unless i can design a good 4 wide track from...
