Duckbricks just hosted a Lego auction, and someone asked him about the Never-Kingdom and why Akita wasn't in the sets. He said he's known about the Never-Kingdom for months and that the set designers wanted to include Akita, but didn't have the parts budget to include her (which makes sense in a year this packed).
