i know this doesn't make any sense for "i cannot fight you but i can resist you" thing but i imagined an alternative scenario: After Harumi’s betrayal in Season 8 and the death of the ninjas, Lloyd is slowly corrupted by the Mystake the Oni. (She teaches him that he is part Oni, has him wear an Oni mask, and pushes him toward embracing that side of herself.) With Mystake’s strategies guiding Lloyd, Lloyd defeats Garmadon but after Garmadon's surrender, Lloyd kills Garmadon, his own father...
