Got damn hersheys chocolate bricks

I recently acquired a grievous starfighter #8095 and it was extremely dirty so I figured id disassemble clO2ean the bricks and re assemble but the brown pieces had a different plan. Even when using a normal 630 brick separator this happened. Any pros that can tell me how these possibly became so brittle? Genuinely curious. Even with playing with lego sets as a kid in water, dirt, or leaving them in the back yard, never have I ever seen any become this bad 💀 submitted by ...
