Getting started in the hobby

Good morning everyone. I'm just getting started in the hobby. I have plenty of official sets and will be getting into the custom 8 wide building soon. In the mean time my old lone ranger train still isn't powered and I'm thinking of using Circuit Cubes to power it so I can keep it looking mostly as is. I haven't found many videos on what the bluetooth app looks like and how (if you have to) to program it for trains. Any advice would help as my lego train club is new and very small. ...
