For many years I've had these VERY old looking Lego pieces in my bins and never knew what year or set they came from. Now after 4 hours of searching and building, I know what they were for :) (see last image)

Yeah it's not fully complete, it's only (literally) half complete, most of the minifigs, other bits and the base plates are missing, but you see the picture. This looks so cool in person.
