Earth's Moon broke away from orbit in the year 1999 on today's date September 13th (AKA Breakaway Day)

From the classic sci-fi TV show Space 1999, this is my one-hand swooshable LEGO MOC of the "Rescue Eagle". The show was on TV when I was a kiddie in the late 1970s, but I was a too young and immature to understand or appreciate it. I only remember the spaceships from the show looked really cool. The first pic is from three years ago after updating the 15-year-old model. The second pic shows this original version of the MOC from 2011 (a couple of years after coming out of my Dark Ages). ...
