Dragon form vs Draconous form

This is smt i have been thinking since s4 released, here we are talking about which is better in terms of how well they fit into the story and useful they are combat wise For me Draconous form clears Story wise it representing Lloyd conection to his friends is much more satisfying than a deius ex machina that were dragon forms Combat wise draconous forms are also better.
