Don’t neglect to invite this magnificent Maleficent
BlockTalk Summary
Renowned builder Bob DeQuatre shifts his focus from his usual space and Star Wars creations to deliver a magnificent, towering LEGO tribute to Disney's ultimate villain, Maleficent. Moving far beyond previous official dragon iterations, this new build captures the iconic creature at a scale that truly embodies the Mistress of All Evil from the film's dramatic final confrontation.
The custom creation features a spectacular dragon constructed from a wide assortment of purple and black slopes that perfectly recreate the animated monster's curves, leaving poor Prince Philip thoroughly outmatched. Alongside the towering beast, the build incorporates stunning environmental details, highlighted by a crumbling stone bridge and eerie creeping vines that set the stage for the dramatic showdown.
While this impressive creation comes from a talented community builder rather than an official retail release with a set number, piece count, or price tag, it showcases the incredible potential of LEGO bricks for fantasy scenes. Fans inspired by this magnificent display can build their own custom castle dioramas and might want to pick up a LEGO brick separator to help sort through all those purple and black slopes needed for a dragon build of their own.
Disney's Maleficent is one of the all-time great baddies - so great that she eclipsed her Princess and created her own franchise and became the face of Disney's Villain empire. Bob DeQuatre gives Maleficent her due with this towering tribute to the film's final confrontation. The post Don’t neglect to invite this magnificent Maleficent appeared first on The Brothers Brick.
