Does this Gar Saxon figures have a common problem with torso cracks?

So for a bit of context, I've started to collect a bunch of Mandalorian figures & decided to finally get this guy from my local Bricks & Minifigs. After getting home with him I realized he had a massive torso crack down the side (shown in 2nd pic).
