Display Questions

I have recently been working on setting up all my minifigs to display and had some questions about how to do so in a way that best preserves them. Should I make sure they aren’t holding anything, including vehicle handles (see picture 2)? For some it felt like leaving their weapons in their hands would look cool but I’m concerned about that damaging the hands over time Has anyone else purchased the low pressure stands from StarBrix?
