Builds from the loft
A LEGO fan rediscovered their children's old LEGO sets and has begun rebuilding them after a clear-out of their loft. The sets, which had been disassembled and mixed together, are being reconstructed with the help of online instructions.
The sets belonged to the user's children and were abandoned about 15 years ago. The user is currently rebuilding the sets, with only a few pieces missing. They plan to source the missing pieces in the new year. One of the sets the user is working on is the 10178 At-At walker, which was found as a jumble of pieces.
The user is finding the experience enjoyable and is now "hooked" on LEGO again. Once they have finished rebuilding the old sets, they are considering starting a midi-scale ship collection.
