Building the LEGO Dream Documentary Now Live
LEGO has released a new documentary titled "Building the LEGO Dream," which follows the journeys of five fan designers who achieved their dream of becoming LEGO designers. The 46-minute documentary, along with a behind-the-scenes short and a director interview with Ethan Vincent, is available to watch on the LEGO Shop.
The documentary features the stories of Josh Bretz, who worked on the BTS Dynamite set (21339), and Ivan Guerrero, who contributed to the Sesame Street (21324), Family Tree (21346), and Cosmic Cardboard Adventures (40533) sets. Thomas Lajon, known for the BrickLink Designer Program Series 3 Lost City and The Orient Express Train (21344), is also highlighted. Sandro Quattrini, the designer of the Motorised Lighthouse (21335), and Alex Storozhuk, who brought the Home Alone set (21330) to life, are also featured.
Building the LEGO Dream" explores the experiences of these individuals as they transition from LEGO Ideas project submitters to official LEGO designers. The documentary highlights how these designers' lives changed when they pursued their passion for LEGO.
