Broken Pieces

So I just got Rey's Speeder new in box, and...a bunch of pieces broke while I was building it. Unfortunately, a quick Google told me that around that time, brown and reddish brown pieces being brittle was actually a common problem, much like the infamous lime green Bionicle joints (RIP my brother and I's Hahli Mahri). Which kind of dashes my hopes of getting replacement pieces off of Bricklink. Which itself is an issue, since most Bricklink buyers want you to spend, like, five bucks at least...
