Bernie in his mittens: LEGO EDITION!

Reddit user /u/ZaneSullivan939 has shared a delightful and timely new LEGO creation that recreates the viral internet sensation of Bernie Sanders sitting bundled up at the 2021 presidential inauguration. The custom build captures the now-iconic pose of the Vermont senator sitting cross-legged in his patterned mittens, heavy winter coat, and a blue surgical mask.

The MOC (My Own Creation) expertly translates the meme into brick form, utilizing clever part usage and a vibrant color scheme to mimic the famous knit sweater and oversized mittens that captured the internet's attention. While official details like set numbers, piece counts, and retail prices do not apply to this fan-made submission, the creator's attention to detail brings the memorable pop-culture moment to life with authentic LEGO elements.

This charming tribute highlights the creativity of the fan community and their ability to quickly turn real-world viral moments into miniature art. Whether you are inspired to build your own custom internet memes or simply organize your collection to start a new project, you might want to pick up an LEGO storage box to keep your spare elements sorted.
