Battle Droid Minifig did change… slightly.

I’m comparing the OG 1999 (Left) and newer ones (Right). Most people say their molds never changed, when in fact some slight changes occurred over the years. For example, the edges on the details are not sharp anymore like in the corners of the torso. They also redesigned the hips near the bottom bar of the torso to prevent the leg from misaligning too much to the left or right. The ears used to be a bit exposed or protruding.
