Advice on MOC

Hey guys! My friend's getting married soon, so I wanna make her a small gift set. Since I'm short on time, I decided to just use the 40153 birthday table decoration set as my base. I basically used the whole 40153 build, but for the top, I made it look more like a wedding cake. I'm just worried the top might be too heavy and the whole "figurine jumping from inside the cake" effect won't work. I attached the image of 40153 as reference, as well as the adjustments I made. Would this work? ...
