97 Projects Qualify for LEGO Ideas First 2026 Review Stage

The LEGO Ideas First 2026 Review Stage has begun, with an impressive 97 projects qualifying for consideration. The deadline for submissions recently passed, resulting in a large number of potential new sets. Originally, there were 98 projects, but one, "Sea Friends!," was removed without explanation.

The Second 2026 Review Stage is already underway, with a deadline of September 7. LEGO fans are eager to see which of these projects will become official sets. In the Second 2025 Review, 146 projects were considered, but only three were approved, so it will be interesting to see if the approval ratio improves this time. Some of the qualifying projects include "CHARMED – Halliwell Manor and the Book of Shadows," "Taylor Swift: The Folklore Cottage (Taylor’s Version)," "The 5th Element – Korben Dallas Taxi," and "Cuphead".

Other notable projects include "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice!," "Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter," "My Neighbor Totoro – Studio Ghibli 40th Anniversary Tribute," and "Thomas the Tank Engine". The variety of themes and subjects suggests an exciting range of potential new LEGO sets.
