BlockTalk BlockTalk Summary

The LEGO set 75452 BB-8 build has an issue with its side panels, according to a recent builder's review. The panels don't sit flush and spin freely, which may be a design choice to mimic the character's movement.

The builder found the set enjoyable, with clever design details, including a head that moves from side to side when the model rolls. However, the side panels' fitment is a notable concern. The panels' loose fit and tendency to spin freely detract from the overall build experience. The builder is considering alternative solutions, such as mounting the panels on a 1x1 plate instead of the turntable.

The post encourages other builders to share their solutions or experiences with the set. If you're building this set, you might want to consider how you'll handle the side panels.

If you're a LEGO enthusiast, you might want to consider a LEGO display case to showcase your finished BB-8 model.
