31006 Highway Speedster in LEGO City style

Reddit user /u/TwoTailedOtaku has shared a creative and nostalgic MOC (My Own Creation) that reimagines the classic Creator set 31006 Highway Speedster in a vibrant LEGO City style. This clever build takes the original 2013 sports car design and updates its aesthetic to seamlessly fit into a bustling modern LEGO metropolis.

The original set 31006 Highway Speedster featured a sleek orange and black color scheme with opening scissor doors and a detailed engine bay. By adapting this vehicle into the LEGO City style, the builder captures the distinct charm and playability of standard City emergency and civilian vehicles while retaining the sporty silhouette that made the original model a fan favorite.

MOCs like this highlight the endless creative potential of modifying retired sets and blending different LEGO themes together. Builders looking to tackle their own custom vehicle projects may want to sort through their spare elements using a LEGO storage box or pick up an extra brick separator to make disassembly a breeze.
