Botanist, Medium Nougat Apron, Black Hair

The Botanist is a fantastic addition to any collection, bringing a wonderful slice of academic life to your brick-built world. What makes this figure particularly appealing to collectors is its highly detailed and specialized printing, featuring a medium nougat apron over a sand green torso and fantastic reddish brown boot details on the legs. The dual-expression head with half-rimmed glasses and tousled black hair gives this character a lot of personality, making it a standout piece for anyone building out a university, botanical garden, or bustling town scene.

Because this figure is tied to a crowdsourced BrickLink Designer Program release, the production run was inherently limited compared to standard retail waves. This exclusivity immediately catches the eye of dedicated minifigure enthusiasts who love tracking down hard-to-find civilian and academic characters. When inspecting condition, collectors should pay close attention to the torso apron printing and the crispness of the glasses detail on the face, as these specialized prints are the primary draw for this specific character design.

Rarity is one of the strongest selling points for this minifigure, as it currently appears in just a single set: the University of Science. Because this set was produced through a special crowdsourced program with a capped production run and limited ordering windows, the availability of both the set and its exclusive figures is significantly restricted compared to standard theme releases.

Aftermarket availability for figures tied to these exclusive programs tends to be tight, as many buyers keep the set sealed or display it intact rather than parting it out. This creates a bottleneck in the supply of loose figures, making individual acquisition much trickier for completionists who missed the initial ordering window.
