Artist, Reddish Brown Apron, Black Hair

The Artist with Reddish Brown Apron and Black Hair is a fantastic addition for collectors who love populating their custom modular towns and academic scenes with vibrant, everyday citizens. What makes this particular minifigure stand out is the fantastic detailing on the torso and legs, featuring a messy reddish brown apron splashed with creative flair over a crisp white shirt and sand blue legs. The head print is equally charming, boasting expressive peach lips, delicate eyelashes, and a beauty mark that gives her a lot of personality.

For condition-conscious collectors, assembling this figure requires paying attention to the unique dual-molded hairpiece featuring long black hair with two buns, which sits securely over the detailed facial expression. Because this figure appears in a very specialized collector-focused set released through the BrickLink Designer Program, it bypasses traditional mass-market retail channels, instantly raising its appeal for completionists and fans of civilian life minifigures.

Rarity is one of the strongest selling points for this minifigure. Having only appeared in a single crowdfunded set, the University of Science, its production run was strictly limited by the number of backers who successfully secured the set during its limited pre-order window. Unlike standard retail waves that see millions of copies produced, crowd-backed designs have much lower overall circulations.

On the aftermarket, availability is dictated entirely by how many set owners choose to part out their builds rather than keep them intact on display. Because civilian characters in specialized academic or professional outfits are frequently sought after for MOCs and university layouts, finding this specific artist available individually can be a fun hunt for dedicated collectors.
