Teacher, Grey Suit

The Teacher, Grey Suit minifigure is an absolute standout for collectors who love the academic and institutional side of LEGO city-building. Featuring the recognizable Ted Brickle head with a thick reddish brown moustache and distinguished black glasses, this figure brings instant character and academic gravity to any brick-built campus. The tousled reddish brown hair paired with the sharp striped suit jacket and sand red tie print gives him the perfect look of a dedicated university professor rushing to his next lecture.

For adult collectors and fans of modular-style academic buildings, this figure is a prime target. Because he is tied to a specific, limited-release institutional set, finding him on the secondary market requires a bit of hunting. When inspecting this figure, collectors should pay close attention to the printing on the torso's dark bluish grey vest and ensure the light bluish grey arms and yellow hands match their original factory condition.

Rarity is one of the strongest selling points for this particular minifigure. Having appeared in only a single specialized set—the University of Science—he completely bypassed the mass-market distribution channels found in standard retail themes. This limited release means that the total number of these figures in circulation is tied directly to the production run of that exclusive set.

Because he was not included in traditional town or city assortment packs, aftermarket availability is naturally constrained. Collectors looking to add this academic to their display shelves will find that supply is much tighter compared to standard city minifigures, making him a sought-after piece for completionists focusing on unique professions and civilian characters.
