Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler

BAM! Our favorite blue-skinned swashbuckler has finally made the jump into LEGO form, and he is an absolute masterpiece for X-Men fans and Marvel collectors alike. Kurt Wagner, better known as Nightcrawler, brings serious flair to the brick-built universe with a stunningly detailed molded tail piece, striking yellow eyes, and those iconic dark blue facial markings. Finding a minifigure with this level of specific character design—complete with molded pointy ears and a stylish coat print—makes it an instant crown jewel for any display shelf.

When examining condition, collectors will want to pay special attention to the printed lines on the jacket and the delicate details on the tail element, as heavy play wear can scuff these intricate tampo prints. Because this is the very first iteration of the teleporting mutant in LEGO form, demand is already skyrocketing among completists who have been waiting years for the X-Men lineup to expand past the core roster. Grab one while you can, because mutant minifigures of this caliber rarely sit on the aftermarket for long without drawing intense competition.

As it stands right now, Nightcrawler is a major exclusive find, currently appearing in just a single set: the 2026 release *Epic Battle: Avengers: Doomsday* (76348-1). This limited initial distribution instantly pushes the rarity needle way up, making it one of the most sought-after single-set gems in the recent Marvel wave.

With production tied to a massive blockbuster crossover set, aftermarket availability is expected to be fiercely competitive. Because he isn't bundled into multiple cheaper starter sets, anyone looking to add the heart and soul of the X-Men to their collection will have to hunt him down directly or pick up the flagship set, which will only drive his individual parts value higher as time goes on.

If you're looking at long-term appreciation potential, Nightcrawler is shaping up to be a phenomenal hold. First-ever character iterations for major Marvel heroes and mutants historically perform exceptionally well on the secondary market once their parent sets retire. Based on market data trends for similar marquee debutants, characters who bridge the gap between classic comic nostalgia and modern cinematic universes retain their value with ironclad resilience.

Given the massive popularity of the X-Men franchise and the sheer scarcity of having only one set appearance under his belt, this figure carries textbook investment fundamentals. Expect steady upward trajectory once *Epic Battle: Avengers: Doomsday* reaches the end of its shelf life, making this a smart pickup for both mutant enthusiasts and savvy portfolio builders.
