4-LOM

4-LOM is an absolute must-have for classic Star Wars bounty hunter completionists, and this particular version is a stunning addition to any collection. Featuring a uniquely molded protocol droid head with distinct speckled copper and silver eyes alongside a specialized breathing mask print, LEGO has captured the eerie, insectoid look of this legendary scum and villainy icon brilliantly. Paired with sleek pearl titanium limbs and intricately printed torso details, the visual execution is top-tier.

For serious collectors, condition is everything with metallic and pearl-colored elements like the pearl titanium used here, as they can sometimes show minor flow lines or micro-scratches straight out of the box. Storing these away from direct sunlight will also help preserve the integrity of the specialized printing on the head and torso. Given 4-LOM's cult status alongside Boba Fett, Dengar, and Bossk, having an up-to-date version of this protocol-droid-turned-bounty-hunter makes this figure a crown jewel for any display shelf.

With appearances currently tied exclusively to a massive, premium-tier set—the Executor Super Star Destroyer (75457-1)—this minifigure boasts a high initial barrier to entry. Because it is locked behind a large flagship collector's set, casual buyers are less likely to acquire it in bulk, naturally concentrating the supply available on the secondary market.

Market data suggests that minifigures tied to high-end adult-targeted sets tend to hold their value exceptionally well once the host set retires. As 4-LOM has only appeared in this single iteration so far, aftermarket availability will heavily rely on the production run of the Executor, making it a prime candidate for steady appreciation among Star Wars collectors.

As a key member of Darth Vader's assembled bounty hunters from The Empire Strikes Back, 4-LOM commands instant recognition and strong nostalgic demand. Because the character has historically appeared in very few sets over the years, older variants have maintained solid followings, paving the way for this modern update to become highly sought after.

Market data indicates that iconic bounty hunters from the original trilogy consistently outperform standard troopers and generic background characters in long-term value retention. Combined with the prestige of originating from a major collector-oriented set, this minifigure earns a very strong investment grade for anyone looking to build a profitable Star Wars portfolio.
