Author, Orange Hair

The Author with Orange Hair is a fantastic addition to any collector's modular or city display, offering a charming slice-of-life aesthetic that appeals deeply to adult fans of LEGO. What makes this figure particularly desirable is its delightful printed reddish-brown apron over sand blue legs, paired with a distinct vibrant orange ponytail hairstyle that immediately catches the eye. The inclusion of specialized printing on the torso and head gives this civilian character a lot of personality, making her stand out among standard city folk.

For condition-conscious collectors, keeping an eye on the printed apron and the delicate facial features is key. Since this figure originates from a recent Creator Expert style release, finding pristine examples is currently straightforward, but the unique hair piece and dual-molded/printed lower body parts will likely become sought-after items on the aftermarket for custom modular building MOCs.

Currently, this minifigure is exclusive to a single set, the Bookstore: Book Nook (11379-1), scheduled for release in 2026. Because it is tied to an exclusive direct-to-consumer style set, its initial distribution is relatively localized compared to figures found across multiple impulse-buy or low-priced waves.

Market data and production lifecycles indicate that single-set civilian figures from popular architectural and display-oriented sets tend to appreciate steadily once their parent sets retire. While readily available during the set's active shelf life, the combination of a unique hair color and themed torso ensures that supply will tighten significantly in the post-retirement secondary market.

With current market data tracking values as not yet established for this brand-new 2026 release, the investment potential hinges largely on the immense popularity of the modular building and book nook subthemes. Figures depicting everyday professionals and creatives—like authors, baristas, and bookstore owners—frequently command strong secondary market demand from builders looking to populate bustling street scenes.

Given that this figure is limited to just one set and features a striking orange hair element that can easily be repurposed for custom creations, it holds a solid trajectory for steady, long-term value appreciation once the set enters retirement.
