Billy Brennan

Hey there, fellow collectors! When we talk about deep-cut additions to the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World lineup, Billy Brennan from the unforgettable Jurassic Park III is an absolute must-have for completionists. Featuring that iconic reddish-brown spiked hairpiece and his trusty utility vest loaded with pockets over a sand-blue shirt, this figure captures the adventurous paleontologist's look down to a tee. The dual-sided facial expression—featuring a classic frown and an intense, action-ready angry print—really sells the danger of being stranded on Isla Sorna!

For condition hunters and investors, keeping an eye on the light nougat hands and the detailed torso printing is key. Because this figure brings a beloved legacy character to life in LEGO form for a dedicated set, ensuring the tampo printing on the torso remains unblemished is crucial for maintaining top-tier value in your display cases.

When diving into market data, Billy Brennan stands out as a genuinely exciting find because he is currently tied to a single, highly anticipated release: the Spinosaurus Dinosaur Escape (77982-1) in 2026. Single-set characters always command extra attention from smart collectors who know that once the shelf life of that specific set winds down, tracking down the loose figure on the aftermarket can become quite a competitive hunt.

Because this is the character's debut appearance in the LEGO portfolio, you won't find older variants or flood-the-market mass-release versions diluting the pool. That exclusivity right out of the gate makes securing him early a smart move for anyone looking to lock down a complete Jurassic roster.

Looking at the investment potential through the lens of current market data, Jurassic-themed minifigures—especially named characters from the classic trilogy eras—tend to hold their value exceptionally well and often appreciate significantly post-retirement. Since Billy Brennan plays such a pivotal role alongside Dr. Alan Grant in rescuing the team from the island's apex predator, dinosaur and movie fans alike will be hunting for him.

Given his single-set exclusivity and the enduring popularity of the Jurassic Park franchise among adult collectors and nostalgic millennials, this figure is primed to be a strong performer in the secondary market once the set officially cycles out of production.
