Dr. Henry Loomis

Dr. Henry Loomis is an exciting and exclusive addition to any collection, originating from a unique Jurassic-themed set. Collectors are immediately drawn to his detailed attire, featuring a rugged dark tan vest layered over a reddish-brown and grey shirt with a distinct dark green plaid pattern and utility belt print. This outdoorsy, adventurous aesthetic makes him a standout character for anyone who loves paleontology or action-adventure themes.

The figure also includes a superb head print featuring a reddish-brown beard, stylish silver glasses, and an expression that easily transitions between neutral and adventurous-angry. Combined with his tousled reddish-brown hair swept to the left, Dr. Loomis captures the quintessential rugged scientist look. Because he appears in a specialized and hard-to-find set, keeping his component parts—especially the printed torso and unique head—in pristine condition will be crucial for long-term collector value.

The rarity of Dr. Henry Loomis is heavily bolstered by his single-set appearance in the Mosasaurus Dinosaur Boat Attack set released in 2026. Because he is exclusive to this particular release, secondary market availability is tied directly to the distribution and production run of that specific set.

Single-appearance figures tied to large creature or vehicle-heavy sets often become sleeper hits for collectors down the road. While market data is still catching up as the set makes its way into the wild, exclusive named characters from blockbuster themes historically command steady secondary market attention once their parent sets retire.

From an investment standpoint, Dr. Henry Loomis holds strong potential thanks to his exclusive single-set status. Named characters from adventure and dinosaur-centric themes consistently attract a dedicated collector base who want to complete their rosters of scientists, explorers, and personnel.

As the set approaches the end of its retail shelf life, demand for sealed sets and loose, mint-condition figures typically rises. Compared to generic troopers or background civilians, a distinct named character with dual expressions and detailed printing is much more likely to appreciate in value over time.
