Naomi, Sushi Chef, Black Hair

Hey there, fellow Brick by Brick collectors! If you are hunting for unique civilian additions to your LEGO modular city layout, Naomi the Sushi Chef is an absolute standout. What makes this figure a true hidden gem is her incredible attention to detail, from the crisp white chef's torso complete with eight buttons and a classic red neckerchief to that striking dark azure headband woven into her long black high ponytail. It is the kind of character design that instantly breathes life and narrative into any culinary display.

When evaluating condition for this specific figure, collectors will want to keep a close eye on the printed yellow face featuring dark orange wrinkles and delicate pink lips. Because she is tied to a very specific, limited-release enthusiast-focused set, keeping the dual-molded hairpiece and torso print pristine is essential for maintaining top-tier collection value.

Naomi currently holds a remarkably scarce profile in the secondary market because she is exclusive to a single, highly specialized release: the Sushi Restaurant. Because this set was produced under a specific crowd-sourced designer program rather than standard retail channels, the sheer volume of these figures in circulation is drastically lower than your average City theme release.

Market data indicates that single-set exclusives from these limited production runs often experience severe supply bottlenecks. Without multiple appearances across standard waves, anyone trying to complete a civilian roster or modular street scene will find that tracking down an authentic Naomi requires competing directly with dedicated restaurant and modular building completionists.

Looking at the investment potential through a collector's lens, Naomi benefits immensely from being part of a high-value, retired enthusiast set carrying a hefty secondary price tag. When a source set commands a premium like the Sushi Restaurant does, the individual components—especially unique civilian occupations like chefs—frequently outperform generic figures in percentage gains.

However, prospective buyers should exercise caution: niche civilian figures carry different risk profiles than major licensed characters from Star Wars or Marvel. If the broader market for modular building accessories softens, or if similar culinary figures are mass-produced in future retail waves, demand could experience a sudden correction.
