King Triton

King Triton is an absolute must-have for Disney Princess and animation collectors, bringing the ruler of Atlantica to life in stunning detail. What makes this figure particularly unique is its specialized construction, featuring a gorgeous opal-trans blue fishtail paired with an intricate molded crown, white beard, and bare-chested torso print that captures his regal aquatic appearance perfectly.

Because Disney royalty figures with unique mold configurations often stay exclusive to higher-end sets, collectors should pay close attention to condition, especially regarding potential scratches on the translucent tail piece or wear on the gold crown and bracelet printing. Keeping this majestic monarch in pristine condition will be a priority for any serious display enthusiast.

As a newly released figure debuting in 2026, King Triton currently enjoys moderate availability tied directly to his single set appearance in Ariel's Royal Wedding Boat. However, single-set distribution for major characters often creates a supply bottleneck once the shelf life of the associated set concludes and the aftermarket takes over.

Given that Disney character variants from specific scenes tend to skyrocket in price once retired, early adoption or grabbing the set while it is actively on shelves is the smartest play for collectors looking to secure this ocean king without paying inflated secondary market prices later.

According to current market data, fresh Disney character releases from medium-to-large scale sets show strong appreciation potential once retirement hits, driven by dedicated completionists and Disney fans. Because King Triton is the definitive ruler of Ariel's world and has a striking visual design, demand is expected to remain exceptionally high long-term.

When compared to other Disney princess supporting characters and royalty figures, King Triton holds a distinct advantage due to his specialized tail and headpiece combination. Once the set retires, expect this majestic figure to become a sought-after centerpiece for ocean and Disney-themed collections, justifying a solid investment grade.
